20th Annual Intracoastal Waterway Century
Mark your calenders this year's Intracoastal will take place on October 26, 2008 (Sunday) starting at 8:00am from downtown Cocoa Village, FL. We had a great charity event last year with the change over to this new start location and with your help we plan on making the 20th interation of this great Century ride the best yet.
Our ride is just one of the many activities happening the last week of October, including many space related
festivities. Bring your loved ones and visit Cocoa Village for a memorable afternoon where you can walk historic streets and avenues. Stroll along the Indian River walkway, explore antique stores housed in historic buildings, eat an old fashioned ice cream cone, or rest a spell with a cup of coffee in a Victorian style coffee house.
We offer full (100 mile) and metric (63 mile) century rides. And again this year we will offer scenic rides along the Indian River of 28 and 14 miles for those looking for a shorter option. The 14 mile ride will be escorted by a ride leader at a controlled pace.
Century riders will pass through the Kennedy Space Center going near Space Port USA. Rest at our SAG stop located at the American Police Hall of Fame & Museum. You will ride quiet tree lined roads along the Indian River and ride down historic River Road (old 2-lane US-1) lined with turn-of-century estates along the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway.
Our club is non-profit and supports various charities including the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
Your entry fee includes: 5 rest stops with plenty to eat and drink, roving SAG support, an after ride meal, a t-shirt, and a well marked, scenic, interesting route.
Ride start, packet pickup, check-in and registration are at the Cocoa Civic Center located at 430 Delannoy Ave in the heart of Cocoa Village.
All participants are required to sign a liability release while checking-in. Due to this requirement each participant must pick up his/her own packet.
Registration and Packet pick-up will be from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Saturday (October 25) and beginning at 6:00am Sunday (day of ride).

Mass start is at 8:00am Sunday October 26.
Meet fellow riders after the ride at our “Sunday After-Ride meal” in the Civic Center conference room. Massage also available after the event.
